Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Otakon 2012 After Math

So I got back from Otakon on July 29th and have now recovered

These were my cosplays I did:

Thursday which is pre-pick-up-badge-day, I barely waited in line to pick up my badge, probably took a good 5-10 minutes wait inside. BUUT afterwards I went to get pizza with my boyfriend. I was dressed up as a Mountain Lion Neko. After my boyfriend and I had picked up our badges we went to grab a bite of pizza in that small little shoppe complex where the buffet was. Now I'm part Uruguayan (small southern South American country) so I speak spanish almost fluently. After we gotten our food and sat down, all the workers started whispering kinda loudly:

"¡Mira! ¡Mira! ¡Mira la Gringa! (derogatory word for white girl) ¡Es como un gato! Look! Look! Look at the white girl dressed up like a cat.

And they were calling the other employees to look and were generally making rude comments. Well when my boyfriend and I finished I went up to counter and said with a big ole grin on me face:

"¡Hola qué tal! ¿Donde esta el baño? Y yo no 'stoy un gringa, yo 'stoy Uruguyo (pronounced euro-guwai-zsh-O) y me hablo español tambien." Hello how are you? Where is the bathroom. And I'm not a 'white girl' I'm Uruguayan, and I speak spanish too.

His face just dropped like it was D-8 at the realization that I spoke spanish too (and hopefully that I'm not 'un gringa' too)

I finally got my Ho-oh hoodie I commissioned/won from *invader-gir after a 2 year ago wait and she made me a Ho-oh shawl as an apology for taking so long! I got 3 rare Ho-oh figurines, A Ho-oh print from ~goldcucco, a Ho-oh mug, a small chibi commission with Ho-oh and the legendary beasts from *evui I also got a Princess Celestia Print, a MLP shirt and Otakon shirt. Went to the pokeholics panel on Sunday and they had a small pokemon cosplay contest and I got placed, I got 6th place out of the 6th finalist of about 20-26 entrants. I won a pokeball pin+cell phone charm, and a charmander pendant

Oh I was able to see a friend of mine who I haven't seen in a long time

Some Nit-pickings
On Saturday I was the Raver/Punk Rock Princess Celestia, and a gaggle of I think Hetalia fans yell out "UNICORN !!" and rush up to glomp me but I yelled back "Careful careful! Injured! Injured! Injured!" and they slowed down and were very light on the hugs, so could have gone bad but didn't.

The people organizing the pro photo shoots in the dealers room were selling MLP plushies, and I wanted a Princess Celestia. They had one almost done and said it would be done on Sunday, but I was unable to get into the Dealer's Room.

Down Lights
I went to the pokemon photo shoot on Friday but the lighting was very bad so you can't see much of us. (but I did find some reallly good pictures) A lot of my photos were blurry because I moved at the last second so that I wouldn't block traffic.

While I didn't have to wait pretty much at all to pick up my badge...dear lord the heeeaaaatttt I was staying at The Mount Vernon which is a 10-20 minute uphill (up hill) back so I missed up on the Mastsuri

I didn't get to meet up with any of the DC Bronys

Worst part
Ugh My iphone completely died (drowned). On Saturday even before I was to head back to the hotel with my boyfriend, I was sitting down resting and I had my bag behind me. There was another group of people sitting behind me as well, and I guess one of them knocked over their water bottle and didn't realize it. Well my bag got soaked, and even I didn't realize my bag became a sponge and so my bag was soaking (luckily my other stuff was in a different pocket so they only got slightly damp) but I had to wring out my bag.

That's the second time that Otakon damaged my phone (lost it 2011)

Cool Story
On Friday at 2:00 am - 2:30 am right out side my hotel window a car crashed and both ended up on the curb. 6-10 police cars came and one of the crashed car eventually burst into flames. 5-8 people got arrested for fighting (I don't even thing they were part of the accident) :3

AND on Friday even there was another crash one block down from where the other crash happened. And I saw a women get carted away into an ambulance.

Oh can you guys help identify these cosplayers?
